Optical Spectroscopy Instrument for Rapid UV/Vis & NIR Optical Analysis of Materials

IDSpectraTM is a compact and portable UV/Vis optical spectroscopy system for the rapid analysis and quantification of materials/suspensions present in solutions. It is based on a patented technology with automated liquid transport and UV/Vis and IR spectral data collection/processing. It is designed to be used across many industries and research disciplines and can be easily customized for a wide range of applications & requirements. The system has a an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that runs on Windows-based PCs and communicates with the various components and drivers through a USB port. It can be configured using a range of optical tools spanning the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared parts of the spectrum. The standard system is built using 4 dispensers but it can also accommodate and switch between as many as 16 different dispensers and materials. Once a sample is tested, it is automatically drained and collected into a waste bin. The system can also be configured to collect different samples in different bins for applications where the analyzed samples are too valuable to be disposed off and/or need to be re-collected and re-used for other types of measurements. The dispensers can be replaced by other types and sizes in order to accommodate liquid samples of just few millimeters to several hundreds of millimeters. They can also be quickly converted for non-destructive in-line testing and return of liquid samples.
